Rafa is a singer, guitarist and harmonica player with years fronting blues, rock and metal bands. He sets the company direction, overseeing strategy, growth and partnerships, defines studio standards and leads the artist experience. Rafa shapes how clients are looked after and keeps communication clear from the first ad to the last email.
Behind the scenes he looks after the backbone of the studio, designing and maintaining our IT systems, organising budgets and signing off on critical operations, so the numbers add up and the paperwork is handled on time. When needed, he steps in quickly to solve problems so the team can stay focused and the work in the studio keeps moving.
If anything needs escalating or you have a business request, Rafa is your point of contact.
Mario is a producer, engineer and reggae artist known as Tenor Mario. He has run several studios and co-founded a record label, working with artists around the world. He leads day-to-day studio operations: agreeing scope and timelines, organising sessions, assigning the right producer and coordinating the engineering team.
He designed the studio setup and ensures all equipment is maintained and calibrated, and that the place is stocked with session essentials. Mario keeps communication flowing with artists and oversees delivery handover. He takes on mixing and mastering when needed and carries out final checks on every project, so each file leaves the studio on time and to spec.
If a session needs a quick decision or the plan needs adjusting, Mario is your point of contact.
Rafa and Mario were drawn to Camden for its raw energy, where different cultures, genres, and voices constantly collide to make something new.
Inspired by London’s rich musical heritage, they built more than a room full of gear.
Their aim was a studio that felt like home, where artists of any background could feel at ease, create confidently and trust that their work will be handled with care.
By pairing top-industry equipment with a warm, collaborative way of working, they shaped Camden Records into a space that reflects their shared values: authenticity, community, and the power of music to bring people together.
Camden Records is today a collective of music producers, engineers, and creatives who share the same love for music and dedication to artists growth. Each member of the team brings their own influences and strengths, adding depth and variety to the projects we take on.
What unites us is a simple idea: every artist deserves to feel supported and release music that represents them at their best. Together, we make Camden Records a place where creativity feels natural and professional results are part of the process.
Giulio is a music producer, sound engineer and multi-instrumentalist at Camden Records, trained at SAE Institute (BA Audio Production). He plays guitar, bass and keyboards, and works across rock, pop, jazz, R&B, funk, dance and experimental electronic. In sessions he guides songs from idea to arrangement and performance, with a steady hand on vocal production and efficient multitrack recording.
He carries projects through mixing and mastering with delivery that’s on-spec and on time, and results that sound right on headphones, car stereos and club systems. Beyond records, he scores for film and advertising and brings sound design and foley skills to screen work. As a live performer, he keeps sessions calm and musical, so artists can focus on the take while the process stays clear and moving.
If your track needs harmony and arrangement support or vocal production, Giulio is your point of contact.

I had a great recording and mixing session at Camden Records. Mario made me feel right at home and eased me into my work. As I was nervous not having recorded in a professional studio in while. We discussed everything prior to the studio session to make sure everything ran smoothly on the days I turned up. I would definitely recommend Camden Records to up and coming artists.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. Our producers and engineers have worked with internationally reknown artists across a wide range of genres — from pop, rock, and hip-hop to reggae, electronic, and beyond. Together, they bring decades of recording, mixing, and production experience.
We work with both established artists and newcomers. The team is here to support you whether it’s your first studio session or your next album release.
Yes. Many artists come to us with ideas or demos. Our producers can help develop arrangements, refine melodies, and guide the creative process.
That’s fine. Our engineers can simply run the session, capture your sound cleanly, and deliver the files, without interfering with your vision.
We focus on listening first. The team’s role is to highlight your strengths and make your music sound professional, not to change your identity. We agree references and aim at your target sound. Decisions are made with you and checked in rooms that translates to any audio system.
Absolutely. Many artists build ongoing relationships with our producers and engineers. Once you’ve found someone you click with, you’re welcome to keep working together.
