The Gear Behind the Records You Love
We use the same industry-standard microphones, instruments and outboard used across major releases worldwide. Chosen for reliability and results you can trust.
Outboard
Outboard is the hardware we use to process sound outside the computer. Preamps, compressors, and EQs can shape and enhance recordings, adding control, weight and character in ways software alone can’t.
For you, this means vocals with warmth and presence, instruments that sit perfectly in the mix, and tracks that sound polished and professional.
Outboard gear gives engineers more control and adds the transients and harmonic touches that make your music stand out.

Microphones
Microphones are the first link in the chain. They pick up voices or instruments and convert them into an electrical signal we can record and shape. There are three main types of studio microphones:
• Dynamic microphones: robust, great for loud sources like drums and amps.
• Condenser microphones: sensitive and detailed, for vocals and acoustic instruments.
• Ribbon microphones: smooth, natural tone that adds warmth where needed.
By choosing the right microphone for each situation, we make sure your performance is recorded accurately and with the character that suits your project.
This approach also keeps noise down, captures detail where it matters and gives you recordings that already sound professional even before mixing.

Monitoring
Accurate monitoring lets artists and engineers hear the truth while tracking, mixing or mastering, so choices made in the room translate outside the studio, achieving the same result no matter where you play it.
• Studio monitors (speakers): these are designed to play sound with a flat, controlled response, so engineers hear the frequencies exactly as they are.
• Headphones: used while recording so performers can hear themselves and the track without sound spilling into the microphones.
We also run a Hear Back system with up to six separate headphone mixes. Each performer sets their own balance of vocals, instruments and click, so everyone hears what they need to perform well.

Guitar & Bass
The heart of many productions, shaping rhythm and melody.
Having these top of the shelf instruments on hand means you’re not relying only on what you bring to the studio, and your sound will always stay consistent and mix-ready.
Our guitars and basses are maintained by professional luthiers for tuning stability, clean electronics and smooth playability. You’ll never have to worry about noisy hardware or instruments that won’t stay in tune during takes.
You’re always welcome to bring your own; the in-house options are still ready for your session from the first note.

Amps & Cabinets
They give electric guitars and basses their character, from clean and shimmering to heavy and driven. Having a well-rounded selection at the studio lets us match the right amp to your style and the mood of your track.
Our selection covers everything from warm vintage tones to modern high-gain power, all kept in top condition through regular checks and maintenance. This gives you a reliable sound at any volume, without unwanted noise or hum.
Whether you’re after subtle dynamics or a wall of sound, our amps and cabinets deliver the tone and consistency you need to lay your riffs with confidence.

Drums & Cymbals
A great drum kit is the foundation of many recordings.
The quality of the shells, cymbals, and tuning all play a huge role in how a track feels. In the studio, this means having an instrument that not only sounds powerful but also records cleanly and sits naturally in the mix.
Our drum kit is carefully maintained and regularly serviced, with fresh heads and hardware checks to always ensure a reliable performance.
It includes a double pedal, two cymbals and Hi-Hat, along with two extra cymbal stands, so drummers can bring their own to achieve their signature sound.
This professional kit responds to your playing, stays in tune, and gives engineers a consistent, high-quality drum sound.

Audio Plug-ins
Plug-ins are the digital tools we use inside the computer for recording, mixing, and mastering. They include EQ, compressors, reverbs, delays, pitch correction, virtual instruments and many other useful tools.
Plugins let engineers and producers shape sound with precision, fix imperfections, and add creative effects that go beyond what hardware can do.
With professional audio plugins, vocals can be tuned naturally, drums can hit with more impact, and instruments can be layered with realistic virtual sounds, from strings and synths to pianos and beyond.
They give us the flexibility to make your music sound modern, creative and professional.

Computer & DAW
At the heart of every modern studio is the computer and DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). The DAW is the software where recording, editing, mixing, and mastering take place. It’s where tracks are cut and arranged, effects are applied, and mixes are shaped.
We work primarily with Pro Tools, the industry standard used in professional studios worldwide. But we can also adapt to your preferred DAW, making it easy to continue a project you’ve already started or work in the environment you’re most comfortable with.
Our professional grade computers and industry-standard DAW can handle even the most demanding sessions. For you, this means smooth recording with no crashes or delays, fast editing, and a reliable system that keeps the focus on creativity instead of technical problems.

Miscellaneous
It’s often the small details that make the biggest difference, and a smooth session often depends on these small but essential tools.
That’s why our studio is stocked with percussion instruments like shakers and tambourines for added rhythm and texture, DI and re-amp boxes to capture clean signals or run them back through amps, and attenuators that let us control levels without distortion.
We also keep everyday guitarist essentials, fresh drumsticks, and a MIDI keyboard for playing or programming virtual instruments.
With these covered, nothing slows down your sessions, even if something is forgotten or breaks down. Everything you need is here to keep the music flowing, so you can focus fully on your performance and creativity.

Questions About Our Studio Equipment
Do I need to bring my own instruments?
Not necessarily. Our studio has high-quality guitars, basses, drums, amps, keyboards, and percussion ready to use. You’re always welcome to bring your own, but we’ve got dependable, session-ready gear here if you need it.
Do you charge extra for the studio instruments?
No. All instruments, amps, microphones, plugins, and accessories are included in your booking price. You won’t pay extra for using anything in the studio.
Is the equipment in good condition?
All instruments are regularly serviced, with guitars and basses checked by professional luthiers, drums fitted with fresh heads, and amps maintained by technithiancs to avoid noise or faults. This means everything is reliable and ready to record.
Can I use my own pedals and effects with your setup?
Yes. You can plug your own pedals, processors, or software into our system. Our engineers will help integrate them with the studio gear so they work smoothly with the session.
What microphones do you have available?
We use a wide range of professional microphones (dynamics, condensers, and ribbons) to capture everything from delicate vocals to loud drums or amps. The right mic is chosen for each source to bring out the best sound.
Can I record with Auto-Tune?
Yes. We use professional plugins for pitch correction, timing edits, and creative effects. These tools can polish a performance while keeping it natural.
Can we use re-amping on my session?
Yes. We can capture a clean DI signal from your guitar or bass and re-amp it through our studio amps later. This gives you more flexibility to experiment with tones after recording.
Can I choose the DAW we use?
We mainly use Pro Tools, but we can adapt to your preferred DAW if you bring it along. This makes it easy to continue projects you’ve already started.
