Mastering Studio Services in London

A master that plays right everywhere and holds up against major releases. Tone and loudness set to platform specs. Delivery on time with unlimited revisions included for peace of mind.

Why Artists Choose Our Music Mastering Services

Plays Everywhere
We check the master on real playback systems so it holds up anywhere it’s played. Balance, tone and levels stay consistent beyond the studio rooms, with reliable translation as the goal.
Loud and Clear
Loud enough to stand next to major releases without crushing punch or detail. Smooth top end, balanced mids and a tight low end so it feels powerful at normalised streaming levels.
Streaming Safe
Masters set for release with true-peak headroom. Delivered to streaming specs with the correct sample rate and bit depth to avoid upload rejections and codec distortion.
Release Ready
Get unlimited revisions until you approve. Masters are delivered on time and to spec, named and dated, with ISRC metadata, alternative versions, and DDP or vinyl pre-masters on request.

What to Expect from a Mastering Session

Mastering finalises both the sound and the files for release. You will hear level-matched comparisons between references, mix and master, with a brief note of what changed and why. Comparisons to your original mix and any references you provided. The aim is a master that meets technical standards and you can sign off with confidence.
How do we do it?

Our Mastering Process

01 Mix Review

Mixes are checked for headroom, clipping, clicks, noise, phase and mono compatibility. If a change in the mix will improve the result, you are told before processing begins.

02 Tone and Balance

EQ and subtle enhancement set a coherent tonal shape across the track and the wider project. Any issues that mask detail or create harshness are addressed.

03 Dynamics and Loudness

Compression and limiting control peaks and set loudness to platform targets while preserving punch and movement. True peaks are contained to prevent distortion after encoding.

04 Ready for Release

Approved masters are supplied as high-resolution WAV with correct naming and metadata. Platform files are included, with DDP for CD and vinyl premasters available on request.

Mastering FAQ

A final stereo mix as a high-resolution WAV at the session sample rate, 24-bit or higher. Leave the mix bus free of brickwall limiting and clipping. Aim for peaks below minus 6 dBFS and an average around minus 14 LUFS. Include track titles, order, ISRCs if you have them, and any reference tracks.

Keep creative processing that defines the sound. Remove hard limiting or clipping that only adds level. If unsure, supply two versions: one with your bus processing and one without.

Loudness is set to platform targets while preserving dynamics. True peaks are contained so the master survives encoding on streaming services. If you need a louder preview for testing, a listening copy can be provided without affecting the approved master.

For a single, a first pass is typically ready within one to two working days once files are approved. EPs and albums take longer due to sequencing and consistency checks. A schedule is agreed before work begins.

Attendance is optional. Sessions can be attended in the studio or reviewed remotely with scheduled listen-throughs and real-time feedback.

A high-resolution WAV master with correct naming and metadata. Platform-specific files for streaming, radio and television can be supplied. CD DDP images and vinyl premasters with appropriate headroom and side timings are available on request.

Yes, when mix adjustments are needed. However, stem mastering is handled case by case because it overlaps with mixing and may affect pricing and timelines.

Versioned masters and concise change notes are provided. Unlimited revisions within the agreed scope are included until you approve the release master.
